Position Summary

Homemade Design is seeking an interior design intern based in the greater Boston MA area to work with the design team behind America's leading online interior design firm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the HMD design team with basic floor plan  and space plan creation including creating layouts with Google SketchUp and Homestyler

  • Assist the design team with fabric selection and materials and finish specifications

  • Place orders, follow-up on orders and ensure accurate delivery to clients

  • Assist with maintenance of HMD's online design library

  • Accompany HMD design team on shopping trips to the Boston Design Center

Required Qualifications

  • Entry-level interior design position

  • Seeking a design student actively pursuing an interior design degree

  • Ability to fulfill time sensitive tasks remotely from a home office as necessary
